Basic information
Character name: Himari
Age: 19 years old.
Country: Norway
Class: Priest
Professions: I currently run with Engineering because hey, it's awesome! Not to mention Enchanting, which I've had since day 1 of this character, and have racked up quite a number of enchants, rare and not-so-rare. Engineering isn't quite at top level right now, but good enough to reap the benefits of the profession-specific bonuses.

A link to your character on Armory: Enjoy.
If you have any other relevant gear, please describe it:
I also have a quite respectable Disc PvP set, I used to play at 2k'ish rating a couple months back.

Previous experience
How long have you played WOW? I think I joined around a month prior to The Burning Crusade, more or less. So.. Almost 4 years? I've had my breaks now and then though, so you could probably bring it down to 3 years.

What is your raiding experience? Excluding vanilla WoW, I've experienced most of TBC with the exception of the last few bosses in the Black Temple and all of Sunwell Plateau. As far as WotLK goes, I've done most of it... I managed to skip out on Ulduar when it was still fresh (took a 3 month break right around the time it released), but the rest was done when it still counted. In an effort to avoid becoming too confusing, I'll just write down all the stuff I've done this expansion;
Naxx10/25 (Completed),
Eye of Eternity10/25 (Completed),
Obsidian Sanctum10/25 (Completed, none of the +1/+2/+3 drakes until later on though),
Ulduar10/25 (Completed, all of the hardmodes done at a later point),
Trial of the (Grand) Crusader (Completed, with the exception of Anub'arak HM)
ICC10Heroic (Completed with the exception of LKHeroic, still haven't done that one.)
ICC25Heroic (Same as above, I never did get to kill Arthas the hard way.)

Do you have any other characters (server/name/class)?
Melanide, a human mage on this server.
Retrieval, a tauren druid on this server.
Avíendha, a blood elf paladin on Al'Akir.
Garishi, an undead priest on Al'Akir.
Gawyn, an undead rogue on Bloodscalp.
I haven't listed any lower level characters as I'm sure you don't want to know all of my many unfinished alt projects. Smile

Your guild history
Previous guilds and why did you leave them?
Horde side:
Omertá, Bloodscalp; The guild I spent most of my time in, fairly casual and non-competitive, but a fun bunch of people all-round.
Worst Case Scenario, Bloodscalp/Al'Akir; These are the people I raided most of TBC with. I returned to Omertá when WotLK released as I realized they would be a good crowd to raid early WotLK with.
Eureka, Al'Akir; At some point in WotLK I realized I wanted a taste of Heroics/Hardmodes, so I joined Eureka after they expressed their interest in "acquiring" me via private whispers. Great bunch of people, but right around when Ruby Sanctum popped I realized I had no interest in PvE any more, and I faction-changed/x-ferred to Outland for much quicker Battleground-queues. PvP was a lot of fun for a couple months, but eventually even that got tiring, so I took a break. Which brings us to...

Current situation
Why did you choose us?
Why? Hm.. I took a look at your topic on the realm forums, and realized you might be exactly what I needed to pull me through the next few months before Cataclysm and beyond. Beyond that, I've always enjoyed 10-man raiding far more than 25-man raiding because I feel it cuts down on the clutter and confusion you get in 25-man raids, and allows the individual to shine to a much greater degree. I also think it brings with it a raid atmosphere that differs greatly from the bigger raids in that people get to know eachother more easily as a result of the smaller group.

What do you expect from us?
Expect is a strong word, but I'd like to say I hope for a good social atmosphere and skilled raiders without the elitist attitude some people think equates a good raider. I expect people who know when to step out of that firey pit in the ground. Wink

What do you feel can you contribute with to the guild?
While I may be a little rusty after having been on break for a month and a half, by taking me you'd be taking an experienced player, someone who already knows the tactics for all the fights, and isn't afraid to learn new things even so. I know what it takes to be a good healer, but that doesn't mean I'm not willing to consider new ways of doing things. I don't back down from a good discussion, and I've been known to come up with additional tactics to help make a fight go smoother.

Do you know any players already in the guild? Who?
I'm afraid I don't know anyone yet.

Do you have a working microphone?
That, I do. Not afraid to use it, either.

Tell us a little about yourself
Well, I'm a complete anglophile (look it up, it's not as gross as it sounds.). I enjoy a good story, and I don't mind writing my own stories either.
I've recently had some router issues, but I've been assured that should be fixed during the next week. Generally I run at 50-100 ms. My computer runs WoW quite comfortably, so FPS is never an issue.
I also have my fair share of geek accessories, most notably the WoW MMO mouse and the Belkin n52te nostromo speedpad Embarassed

Right. Now, I realize you may not be looking for a Discipline Priest right now, or any kind of healer, but I felt like your guild might be the perfect place for me to start come Cataclysm, so I thought I'd give it a chance and let you decide the rest. Even if you don't have the room for me as a raider right now, perhaps you'd be inclined to take me as a social member?

Hi Himari,

Thank you for a very nice application, but unfortunately we can't take in any more players at the moment.

With 13 players, all with very high signup rate, we think we have what we need to keep us going and we want to make sure we don't have half a raid on sitout every raidnight Smile

And our social rank is reserved for friends and family of current raiders since we would like to keep it a small guild where 'everyone knows everyone'

Best of luck and hope you will find the right home for you!
